The Charm of Ancona Ducks
One of our greatest joys at Boggs Haven Farm is raising the Ancona duck, a rare heritage breed known for its calm nature, striking spotted plumage, and excellent foraging ability. Not long ago, the Ancona was on the endangered species list — but through dedicated breeders and small farms like ours, its numbers are rising again. We’re proud to be part of that effort, helping preserve this beautiful breed for future generations.
